Located in Belém, Lisbon, the Museu Coleção Berardo of modern and contemporary art is the most visited Museum in Portugal (The Art Newspaper, 2017). Open every day, has Free Admission on Saturdays, all day. 

With five current exhibitions on view (three temporary and two permanents), is a museological space of reference in Lisbon, where the visitor can enjoy the best of modern and contemporary art, hosting the Berardo Collection with its more than 70 artistic tendencies and more than 900 works that demonstrates its strong museological and didactic nature, with works by artists like Marcel Duchamp, Pablo Picasso, Salvador Dalí, Andy Warhol, Francis Bacon, Jackson Pollock, Gerhard Richter,  Maria Helena Vieira da Helena Silva and Helena Almeida, among many others.  

The Educational Department of the Museum offers a programme designed for an audience aged 2 and upwards, with activities that promote the contact with art from an early age, up through schoolchildren to families and adults, and in this way it aims to stimulate and encourage life-long learning.  Guided tours are available as well as other activities.
