The first group of works in the exhibition offers a journey through modern art, beginning in the early twentieth century with Picasso and the invention of cubism and Duchamp and the questions surrounding the readymade. The rapid and breathtaking succession of avant-garde movements, which invented new ways of understanding space, are represented in groups of works devoted to dadaism, constructivism, neoplasticism, surrealism and abstraction-création.

The second group of works from the collection invites the visitor to undertake a chronologically arranged journey that groups together the most significant artistic movements of the neo-avant-garde, such as minimalism, conceptualism, post-minimalism, land art and arte povera, among others.
